I visited New York in June 2025 invited to the film-symposium “Varieties of Cinematic Experience” to present Solitude (2022) and as a Fellow at the APRIL-Judson Colloquium June 2025 https://www.aprilonline.org/april-colloquium-2025/

In the video titled July 1978 I revisit where I had stayed in the summer of ’78 and from where I wrote the letters read. I have not read the selected letters since I wrote them in 1978 and only took them out to prepare them for the possibility of revisiting them whilst I was in New York.

The video was presented to the Fellows of the Colloquium. A short interview by Clara Behnke will be added as a coda.
