Talk and Performance NINA DANINO Religion&Art Forum Session 3 17 May 2021
Rollin’ and Tumblin’ is a short presentation followed by a recorded performance to camera and a Q&A follow up which I presented at Religion & Art Session 3 17 May 2021. My presentation is quite freewheeling and it circles around various ways to approach jouissance in my work and as it might cohere around the dance performances of which I show an extract which is part of a longer work along with other dance pieces. I made these video performance pieces including Ghost of Love which I showed at Gesture, Oxford in January of 2024, as private videos but I am showing extracts and short video pieces in certain contexts. It was partly an excuse to dance for an hour to Cream in the practice of jouissance.
